By accessing or using PillowTales, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

PillowTales creates personalised bedtime stories and narration for children. Features may include:

• AI-generated personalised bedtime stories.
• Text-to-speech narration.
• Optional Parent Voice narration.
• Multiple story languages and narration options.
• Story saving, library and sharing features.
• Free usage limits, premium subscriptions and Parent Voice credits.

3. Parent and Guardian Responsibility

PillowTales is intended for use by adults. Parents or guardians are responsible for account setup, child profile details, story prompts, use of generated content, narration choices and supervision of children using or listening to the app.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and providing accurate account information. You should not share access to your account in a way that could compromise your data, voice recordings or child profile information.

5. Subscriptions, Purchases and Credits

PillowTales may offer free and premium subscription tiers, Parent Voice credits and other in-app purchases. Subscriptions renew through the Apple App Store or Google Play unless cancelled through your device or app store account settings.

• Prices, trials, renewal rules and refunds are managed by the relevant app store.
• Parent Voice credits may be consumed when creating eligible Parent Voice narrations.
• Cached or saved content availability may depend on account status, service availability and app functionality.

6. AI-Generated Content

Stories are generated using AI and may occasionally contain mistakes, repetition or unexpected wording. PillowTales aims to create gentle, child-appropriate bedtime content, but parents and guardians should review stories where appropriate and decide what is suitable for their child.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

Generated stories are for personal, non-commercial use by you and your family. You may share stories with family and friends through app sharing features, but you may not sell, commercially distribute, copy, reverse engineer or misuse PillowTales content, branding, software or technology.

8. Parent Voice and Voice Recording Rules

If you use Parent Voice, you confirm that you have the right and permission to provide the recorded voice. Parent Voice must not be used to impersonate someone without permission, mislead others, create harmful content or violate anyone’s rights.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PillowTales for unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, discriminatory, explicit or child-inappropriate content. You must not attempt to disrupt the service, access data you do not own, bypass usage limits or misuse the app’s AI, narration or voice features.

10. Availability and Changes

PillowTales may change, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of the service from time to time. We cannot guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available in every country, language or store.

11. Disclaimer

PillowTales is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee specific bedtime outcomes, sleep improvements, story results, narration quality, language accuracy or uninterrupted availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PillowTales is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the app, website, generated stories, narration, Parent Voice or purchases.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of PillowTales after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
